Fall 2024 Newsletter

To Family ❤️

I would like to dedicate this newsletter to family.

Family is a beautiful and broad term. Family comes in all shapes and forms.

Family to me means the people I feel a deep bond with. The people I love, I care for, and the ones who care for me.

I spent an amazing month this summer with my family in Hungary. My children and I were loved and cherished by my parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and all relatives and friends.

When I came back to Canada, I felt I came back to my second family. My partner, his family and all my friends here were so kind and excited to meet and spend time with me. And with my children.

We are all born into a family and it is up to us what kind of relationships we have with our family members.

Later in life, we also have a choice to create an additional family with the people we love. With partners, with their families, and with friends.

I am so fortunate that in my heart, I feel I have one family in Hungary and another one in Canada.

In this newsletter, I included pictures that were taken in Hungary this summer. Pictures of Budapest, including the Parliament, the Buda Castle, the National Gallery, Matthias Church, and the Chain Bridge.

You can also see images of the Hungarian countryside, historical buildings, architecture, and my family.

In the second half of this newsletter, you can find pictures of my summer adventures in Canada as well.

One of the best things I experienced this summer was to have felt like a kid at heart again.

Visiting the zoo in Budapest was one of the best experiences. I used to go there as a child many times but seeing it through my kids’ eyes again was a completely different and amazing experience.

From meeting with relatives, to going to festivals and country trips, to watching fireworks, and to spending quiet nights at home by a fire in my mom’s garden, our time in Hungary couldn’t have been more bonding, loving, and fulfilling.

When we came back to Canada in August, the adventures continued. Taking the kids to the Vancouver Aquarium was absolutely thrilling. We also went to Cultus Lake, outside of Chilliwack, and the beaches there did definitely not disappoint. We all had a blast swimming in the lake. Adding to all this fun with two birthday celebrations in Abbotsford, my heart couldn’t be fuller for my family.

Just the right amount of love and excitement for my daughter to start high school this fall…
