Happy Spring!

From outdoor adventures to indoor activities, Victoria has a lot of wonderful events and experiences to offer to rejuvenate and recharge yourself all year round.

Whether you are looking for family fun, spending time with friends, or pampering yourself, you will find an abundance of choices on the Island.

Some of these activities include festivals and parades, like the Chinese New Year and Caribbean festivals, or the Santa Claus and Truck parades. Other options are indoor and outdoor concerts, theatres, restaurants, and spas.

And let’s not forget about the gardens. My favourites. Victoria is called the “City of Gardens” for a reason. We are blessed with so many amazing gardens, green spaces and parks. For someone who loves flowers and plants as much as I do, this place is a true gem.

The past few months I have been very fortunate to experience some of the great activities this City has to offer: music concerts, gardens, restaurants, ice cream parlors, spas, and theatre performances. I even survived a 2 and a half hour kids movie, in the movie theatre! Wicked. And there’ll be part 2…

Victoria is a beautiful and fun place; I am very grateful I can call this City my home, and that I can be part of this community.

The pictures in this newsletter were taken at the Chinese New Year festival. The Chinese zodiac sign for 2025 is the Wood Snake. The year of the Wood Snake is a time for wisdom, patience, personal growth, and thoughtful decision-making.

You can also find photos in this newsletter from Victoria’s Inner Harbour and from Fan Tan Alley in Chinatown. All pictures are courtesy of my partner.

If you have any questions or comments, or if I can be of assistance in any way, please feel free to contact me.

Warmest regards,
Anita
